Merry Christmas lovelies! I hope you are having a wonderful day thus far! I have been busy in the kitchen all morning long… more on that tomorrow! Anyway, today I just wanted to pop in and wish you a Merry Christmas and share a few words on my mind.
You all know that my faith comes above all else. I am so grateful for what today represents – the birth of the one that changed our lives forever. I am so thankful to have a savior that gave his life for both me and you so that our sins could be washed away. I am grateful to have a savior that meets me where I am and delivers hope, good news, recovery and forgiveness every single day. I am grateful for the relationship that I have with Him, for I know without Him I would be lost.
Today is not about the material gifts but instead it is about all of the gifts that Jesus gives and has already given us. To me, today is all about relationships – the family and the friends that we are blessed to have in our lives. Christ gives us these people to encourage, motivate and lift us up. He gives us these people to help, support and love. It is these relationships that make life on earth so magical. I believe that today serves as a day to remind us of the unconditional love that Jesus shows us, and therefore, we should show others.
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.”
-Luke 2:11.
Today and every day I give thanks for the birth and life of Jesus because without Him life wouldn’t be worth living! Have a blessed day my friends!
Good health!
