I eat salmon because I love it; Dustin, however, is just the opposite. He ONLY eats salmon because he knows how good it is for him. Luckily, I really do enjoy almost all “healthy” foods, so there is no forcing here. In order to help Dustin like (no, loveeee) this yummy pink fish, it’s all about how I prepare it. I have finally found a way for him to not only get his Omega 3s but also enjoy it too. Enter: Agave Mustard Salmon, kind of like Honey Mustard, if you will.
For some reason, my picture keeps rotating this way on it’s own, but this is fresh, straight from Alaska, wild salmon. The fishermen who actually caught this fish were at the market a few weeks ago, so of course I had to stop by and give them some business.
For the salmon, I only needed 5 ingredients: Agave, Course Ground Mustard, Vegetable Broth, Salt, and Pepper.
I clearly used the end of both! Add a little broth to about 2 tablespoons of both the mustard and the agave (just enough to make it spreadable) and use a brush to add it to your salmon.
Bake it at 375 for about 10 minutes per inch of thickness and not only do you have a healthy dinner, but a sweet one too!
