My Favorite Sweet!

by Ashley on January 31, 2012

Over the break, my mother-in-law, Donna, let me in on one of her newest kitchen secrets which was passed to her by her mother-in-law.  I’m now going to pass that secret along to you, even though I’m not your mother-in-law ;-), but just because you can’t go another day without knowing this!

Have you ever been to a restaurant and ordered a sweet potato and loved it so much because it was so moist, soft, tender and warm? And then you come home and try to make that same sweet potato and they just never turn out as good: they are completely dry or even soft on the outside yet hard in the middle. That has happened to me almost my entire life, until now.

How to Cook a Sweet Potato 101

Preheat the oven to 350. Wash and dry the potatoes and pierce them with a knife or fork. Grease a CAST IRON SKILLET (

These potatoes will make your entire house smell good! Out come the potatoes, perfectly prepared, no add ons necessary!

Have a wonderful day!

Good health!

Ashley
