Morning Motivation

by Ashley on June 10, 2011

My dad sent me this yesterday and it was too good not to share.  So many times, finding the motivation is the hardest part of any improvement program.  If you ever feel like this, I hope this helps…

“When I woke up this morning laying in bed,

I was asking myself,

What are some of the secrets of success in life?

I found the answer right there,

In my very room.

The fan said… be cool.

The roof said… aim high.

The window said… see the world.

The clock said… every minute is precious.

The mirror said… reflect before you act.

The calendar said… be up-to-date.

The door said… push hard for your for your goals.

And not to forget, the carpet said… kneel down and pray.

Carry a heart that never hates.

Carry a smile that never fades.

Carry a touch that never hurts.

Have a purposeful day in the Lord!

Ash, you are truly inspiring. I so enjoyed Jeff’s morning motivation too! I can’t say that I’m totally on board to a veagen lifestyle, but I admire your journey. Jack has never been a veggie lover unless it is smothered in butter and cooked with bacon or hambone…haha…but he actually eats brocolli pretty regularly now! I working on him…
You are a blessing to many and it is clear that you are living your life in the will of GOD. It’s a day to day thing…keep on chugging…
Love you Girl

Hi Pam! Thank you so much for your sweet words…it means so much!! That’s awesome that he’s trying new veggies: it really is all about the preparation of them! You should try the Sea Salt and Vinegar Kale Chips one day…crispy and very untraditional!! Love and miss you much!!
